{More Summer}

Alex took Kymber for a little hike on the hills behind our house. She had so much fun exploring!

Alex hiked to the top of Mount Bora with his brother, Scott, and some of their friends from work!

For our Peatross Family reunion my parents rented a cabin at Mack's Inn up in Island Park! We had fun fishing, mountain biking, playing in the water, hiking, and playing games!

We had our {End of Summer BBQ} with the Kings in August! Alex and I were in charge of it this year, and so we did a Luau! We had {yummy} Hawaiian Haystacks and did a fun relay, and played volleyball!

Last fishing {date} night of the summer!

"Get over your issues!"

On Saturday I had the amazing opportunity to listen to Sis. Julie B. Beck speak. She is the General Relief Society President for the Church, for those of you didn't know, and she was in Rexburg for a Regional Conference! I almost didn't go! I felt like i haden't seen my husband in forever, and leaving Arco at 7:30am when, usually, I'm not even out of bed by 8:30? Well not my idea of a good time! But when my Mother and Siter in law came to pick me up some how i was ready to go!

She didn't really have a prepared talk! She invited those of us in the audience, to ask her any questions we had regarding the gospel. There were many questions and many good answers! I got many things out of the meeting, but the thing that stuck with me the most was this:

"Get over your issues!
God doesn't care about your issues!"

This was her response to a sister's question about visiting teaching! Crazy right? I know it sounds harsh, and we all know that our Heavenly Father loves us, but it's so true! It doesn't matter if you don't get along with your companion or the sisters you teach, you may think you don't have time, but get over it and just do it! I think we can apply this to so many areas of our life. I need to get over my issues and do the things my Heavenly Fater needs me to do! So I challenge you all to "Get over your issues!" {Sorry this is kind of a random post in the middle of my posts about 2010!}

SuMmEr 2010

We had a busy, but fun summer!

Alex's brother, Cody, took us boating at the Mackay Dam a few times last summer! Al tried surfing behind the boat!

My Sister in law Lacy and her kids; Cambria, Brynlie, Christian and Scouten!

This is the first time I ever got up on a wakeboard before! Woohoo!

If you know me I absolutly despise running! But last summer I decided I wanted to run in the Atomic Days 5K Fun Run! Guess what?! Running isn't so bad! Alex and his sister Brandi ran it with me, and the girls came along for the ride!

Cooking marshmallows at the Blane Diversion!

New fence and the start of what I'm hoping will be a beautiful lawn when all this gross snow is gone!

We spent many hot afternoons out in the pool or running in the sprinkler!

SpRiNg 2010

We had an awesome year last year and we did so much that i just have to share! So just a warning my next few posts are going to be long and contain many, many pictures until I get a little more caught up!
Dying Easter eggs!

Easter egg hunt!

Easter Dresses!

Kymber turned 3 years old on April 30, 2010! Happy Birthday girl! Sorry it's 10 months late!

On May 17th my little sister, Jennifer became a mom! She had a little boy! Now Kaden is 9 months old and I don't think I have ever seen a baby smile as much as that kid does!

Thank Goodness for Insurance!

I'm sure you have noticed that my posts have been well non existent recently. My camera cord has been M.I.A for quite awhile now, and if it weren't for new proof of insurance I don't think it would have ever been discovered in the jocky box of my little blue car! It's a good thing too! I recently had a complaint from one of my "Faithful Followers" begging me to update my much neglected blog. This person and his family his family are more than just friends, they feel alot like family! They go above and beyond helping in anyway they can. Whether it be a chauffeur giving the girls and I a ride to dance class or mutual on tuesday nights, or a babysitter they always seem to offer before i even need to ask! As for the annoying guy at church that distracts my husband? I don't mind him so much either! This family makes living in Arco, Idaho not so bad sometimes, and for that I am grateful! So hang in there my fans, how ever few you may be, and hopefully soon I will get my blog updated!

Maui Part 3

Wow! We have had such a busy summer! I figured it was about time to finish blogging about my Maui trip! On our snorkel cruise to the Molokini crater we saw so many beautiful fish, an octopus, and a few green sea turtles!

The turtles were so amazing! They were almost as big as me! It was truly the experience of a lifetime swimming next to these rare creatures!

This is me touching the octopus!

The next morning we got up bright and early and drove the road to Hana. The road is very narrow with hairpin turns and amazing views around every corner! Not a good drive for someone who gets car sick! I only saw two waterfalls before i got a huge migraine and got sick! I slept for an hour in the car and missed the whole thing! Alex said it was his favorite part of the trip even though he didn't get to get out and hike to any other waterfalls because I was passed out in the passenger seat!

This was my favorite waterfall! We had to hike on these huge slippery river rocks for a mile before we reached the waterfall! It was an adventure I will never forget!

I woke up in time to see the Seven Sacred Pools!

Later that afternoon, after we got back to our hotel, we saw this beautiful rainbow!

The last day we were there we had to burn time till our flight left that night. We checked out of our hotel and pretty much just wandered around looking for things to do! We stopped at a restraunt named Lulu's and had breakfast. I got pancakes that had caramelized bananas and pineapple chunks topped with kula cream! They were the most delicious pancakes i have ever had! I can't believe i didn't take a picture! They were huge though and i could only eat half of mine! We went mini golfing, walked around a few shopping centers, saw the movie Date Night, and then we went to the airport and had dinner, then we played cards until we boarded our plane!
This trip was the most amazing experience! It means so much to me that i got to spend it with my awesome husband! We had so much fun I can't wait till we go back!
